Overview

The Newark Cultural Education Finance Corporation's sole purpose is to acquire, construct, provide, improve, finance, and refinance cultural facilities for the public purposes.

The Corporation is organized exclusively for the purposes of benefiting and accomplishing public purposes of; and to act on behalf of, the city pursuant to the Texas Education Code under sections 53.35(b) and 53A.35(b) (collectively, the "Act"). 

Meetings

The Newark Cultural Education Finance Corporation meets as needed on the 3rd Thursday at 6pm at Newark City Hall. Agendas are posted the Monday prior to the meeting on the outside bulletin board at City Hall as well as on our website.
