What You Will Need to Complete the Permit Process

Please apply for your accessory structure permit using the information below. 

Ensure you have all of the following items as applicable to submit for a trade permit. 

You will need to upload the following documents with your permit application:

  1. Permit Application
  2. Any electrical, mechanical or plumbing plans as they apply.

You will upload all of the above documents after completing the registration on the permit portal as described above. 


Water heaters and HVAC require permits. In emergency situations repairs can be done, but applicant must file for a permit and inspection with the city within 72 hours of repair.

  • Electrical Final

  • Mechanical Rough
  • Mechanical Final

  • Plumbing Rough
  • Plumbing Top-Out
  • Plumbing Final

  • Gas Underground
  • Gas Final

Please note that this is a general list of what inspections these projects generally require, however some permits may require additional inspections. As always, re-inspections will require additional fees.
